"Great news for all of us in North Coogee who opposed the Catherine Point name change.
Landgate has just confirmed that the application triggered by the Catherine Point Community Group (CPCG) was non-compliant and against Landgate's policies. In other words, there will be no split with Port Coogee and our entire suburb will remain as North Coogee. The name 'Catherine Point' has been relegated to the trash can. Common sense has finally prevailed. This is the decision that our SBCI has been working hard towards over the past year.
Thank you for hearing our message and joining our campaign to retain our North Coogee name."
